Scott L. Ladewig

Attorney Scott L. Ladewig is originally from Blue Island, Illinois but moved during childhood to Palos Park, Illinois where he was raised. Scott continues to reside in the Palos area. He is a graduate of Carl Sandburg High School and Valparaiso University, where he received a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry in three years. After receiving his undergraduate degree, Scott went on to receive his Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School in Chicago.

During his many years of practice, Scott has handled a widespread client base as well as an expansive variety of legal matters. Through the years he has handled many different matters in various areas of the law including civil litigation, chancery cases, bankruptcy cases, corporate matters, related adoptions and family law. However, the focus of his practice is in the area of real estate, estate planning and probate matters.

Scott has been a partner of Ladewig and Ladewig, P.C. since it's inception in 1991 and continues to be a partner in the firm which has since been renamed and reincorporated as Ladewig & Basch, P.C. He remains committed to providing his clients with efficient and trustworthy legal services. His extensive client base is comprised almost entirely of repeat clients and referrals from past clients.

Scott is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association. He is married and has six children. Scott has been and remains very active in the community. He has served for many years on the church council (past chairman) of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Palos Heights, served as a member of the Board of Trustees for Palos Baseball Organization for 17 years and has also been very active in coaching youth sports over the past two decades.
